Single is the first release from the band's new album, the successor to Liebe Ist Für Alle Da (2009).
Rammstein is finally back. The German group released an epic video for the single "Deutschland" on Tuesday, the 28th, the first from their upcoming studio album, which is yet to be named .
Directed by Specter Berlin , the music video is almost ten minutes long and journeys through Germany's turbulent history, passing through the Middle Ages and the Holocaust, while also alluding to the country's technological advancements.
The band's initial teaser received several criticisms for its images in Nazi camps, but the music video makes it possible to understand the band's stance: to show that it is necessary to remember the past, however dark it may have been, and reflect on the consequences it brought.
The album, whose title has not yet been revealed, will be released on May 17th and is already available for pre-order .
