The German band Rammstein released a statement that intrigued fans. After months of near-complete silence from the band members regarding the accusations of harassment and sexual abuse against vocalist Till Lindemann , they finally spoke out.

The statement doesn't indicate any hiatus or breakup of the band, but fans didn't understand the message. The statement, which thanks the fans, came after the end of the European tour.

“We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all our fans, friends, and everyone who came to our shows. Thank you for your support and affection on this 2024 tour. We could feel you everywhere and were swept away by a wave of emotions.”

They continued: “It was an honor to be able to play for you, to be a part of these happy moments and the joy we shared. Because of you, we are a band that has found joy in music and on stage again. Each show was an act of healing for us. Thank you for that.”

Next, the band commented on the accusations made against the vocalist: “We have been actively dealing with the accusations made against the band since last summer. We take this debate seriously, even though much of it is unfounded and grossly exaggerated.”

“It’s an internal process that will stay with us for a long time. Each of us does it in our own way and deals with it differently. At this moment, we would especially like to thank our families and loved ones for their unwavering support and love; they too have been severely affected by the allegations made and the way the media has handled them.”

The statement then concludes with the band thanking the team: “We would like to thank our team, our management, all our collaborators and everyone who supported us and remained loyal throughout this journey. This huge stadium tour with this great show and this extraordinary stage has come to an end after 135 shows in five years with 6 million fans. This is not Rammstein. This is not us. This is not you. The journey continues. Adieu, goodbye, AUF WIEDERSEHEN!!”

In the comments section of the post, fans can be seen asking "what does this mean?" or posting crying face emojis. Other comments simply thank the band.
