The French electronic music group Ninja Cyborg is pursuing a plagiarism lawsuit against the German industrial

Rammstein According to the newspaper Day FR Euro , Ninja Cyborg filed the lawsuit in the Paris Court of Appeal after a previous complaint was rejected in 2021. The appeal takes into account the opinion of music law expert Richard Dubugnon , who claims that Rammstein "borrowed the riff and other melodic elements" from the French group's song. According to Richard, there are "many similarities" between the songs, leading him to conclude that it is "undoubtedly" plagiarism.

In a statement, Ninja Cyborg said : “We want this song to be recognized as ours and to no longer spend our lives as artists perpetually justifying ourselves.” The German band has not yet commented on the matter.

The two groups are due back in court on September 10th, at the Intellectual Property Chamber of the Judicial Court of Paris.
