Queen movie to be released in November
Rami Malek, who plays Freddie Mercury in the film Bohemian Rhapsody, spoke in a video about what it's like to portray the Queen .
“When you dress up as Freddie Mercury, it makes you feel like it’s going to be a good time,” Malek said. “You don’t want to imitate Freddie; you want to be able to understand why he did what he did. I needed a movement coach.”.
Greg Brooks, Queen's official archivist, worked with the film's production team to recreate every detail, making it as authentic as possible. "My role was to give them access to Queen's tapes, notes, manuscripts, costumes, and photographs—anything and everything—so they could create replicas," said Brooks. "They created a Queen universe that is frighteningly convincing. It's real in every way it could possibly be.".
