Ralph Santolla suffered a heart attack and went into a coma
Deicide and Obituary guitarist Ralph Santolla will have his life support switched off today.
The news was given by the musician's son, Dorian Angelo Santolla: “We will be taking my father off the machines this Wednesday. If any of his friends would like to say goodbye, the family will welcome them. He would appreciate the love. Thank you.”
The mother, Sue Santolla-Rocha, also spoke out: “Ralph Santolla is an organ donor, so he will continue to live. Recipients don't know what they're getting until, suddenly, they become sarcastic, funny, get tattoos, and start playing guitar.”.
Besides Deicide and Obituary, Santolla was a member of Death , Iced Earth Sebastian Bach 's solo band .
