Ralph Santolla suffered a heart attack
Deicide and Obituary guitarist , who also played with Death and Iced Earth , Ralph Santolla , is in a coma in the United States after suffering a heart attack last Tuesday, the 29th. The news was given by the musician's mother via Facebook.
“Ralph thought he had been bitten by a spider on Saturday. He went to the hospital. It wasn’t a spider bite, it was a blood clot. On Tuesday night he collapsed and had a heart attack. His heart stopped, but they brought him back.”.
Although Santolla never recorded with Death, he toured with the band in 1993 and appears in the music video for "The Philosopher".
