The gauchos from Rage In My Eyes take their passion for Iron Maiden to a new level by releasing a cover of the track "Aces High" especially for a Brazilian tribute to the band.
The collection honoring the band, titled Somewhere In Brazil…The Brazilian Tribute To Iron Maiden , is now available in Brazil in physical format through the Armadillo Records/Secret Service Records . The tribute, released as a double CD, features 26 classics from the legendary English band, with bands of various styles adding their own touch to the songs.
For Rage In My Eyes drummer Francis Cassol, the choice of song was a natural one: “We all love Powerslave and there’s no doubt about the power of this track as the album opener. The introduction with [ Winston ] Churchill is iconic and the energy the song emanates is very intense. We’re happy to end the year with this release and hope everyone enjoys our version!”
Yesterday, the 15th, Rock In Rio confirmed Maiden as the headliner for the first night of the 2021 edition of the event. Click here to learn more.
