Rafael Bittencourt , guitarist of Angra , joined this Wednesday, the 23rd, the extensive list of rock and metal idols who have already been vaccinated against COVID-19 .

In addition to posting his proof-of-vaccine card, manufactured by the Butantan Institute, the musician also defended the different vaccine options available to the population. “Forgive me, pseudo-scientists on the internet, but it’s not time to choose a vaccine. Do your part, get vaccinated,” he posted on social media. The musician's second dose is scheduled for July.

Bittencourt also took the opportunity to explain the origin of his stage name in his stories, since his vaccination card shows that the musician's surname is actually "de Paula Souza Neto". As his first name was a tribute to his paternal grandfather, Rafael decided to use his mother's family name in his stage name. "That's my family name," he commented.
