Angra guitarist and founder Rafael Bittencourt was the guest on last Friday's live stream, the 23rd, of the Heavy Talk .

Edu Falaschi 's solo DVD , Temple of Shadows in Concert , which features Angra's 2004 album, Temple of Shadows , played in its entirety.

Presenter Moita addressed the issue, saying that Edu Falaschi had been on the show and that Heavy Talk would like to give Rafael Bittencourt the same opportunity to present his perspective on the matter.

Rafael began his response by saying that the story starts in 2015 when, according to the founder of Angra, Edu registered songs that do not belong to him with a publishing company. “He registered songs that aren't his. There are songs by Andre Matos , songs by Iron Maiden , by Genesis . It must have been Edu's carelessness, but because of that, it generated duplicate registrations and therefore, the authors haven't received royalties since 2015.”

"I spent 7 years tolerating the problems he had. It wasn't just his voice, which would crackle. They were behavioral problems."

According to Rafael, there were several attempts to engage in dialogue with Edu Falaschi, but none of them progressed. The guitarist also mentioned the division within the audience caused, according to the founder of Angra, by Falaschi's statements and interviews.

“And there are many other stories. The DVD is just the tip of the iceberg. He needs to come talk to me to resolve this DVD issue. I haven't received royalties for at least 50 songs since 2015. Let's start with that. And there are many other issues, much more serious, that truly fall into the criminal realm.”

Rafael claims that the original album artwork was used improperly, that the lyrics and concepts of the album were altered without permission, and uses various adjectives to describe Edu, such as insecure, paranoid, liar, and disloyal, throughout the nearly 40 minutes that make up his response.

"I don't see Edu as a bad person. I see him as a naive, paranoid, and insecure person. I think Edu's insecurity is pathological."

The harshest statement comes when Rafael says, “I feel sorry for Edu. Really. He's building a lie. He's trying to recapture a time when he was great, but without the band's endorsement. If it were up to him, he'd be with Almah , but he needs Angra and that makes him so resentful. I find that sad.”

"He's selling a lie, a fantasy. He's no longer the artist he used to be. He's digging his own grave. He did things he'll have to answer for in court."

"He knows very well that there's a serious matter that I'm not going to talk about today, and I'm going to spare him the details, and he knows exactly what it is. It places him in a criminal context."
