"Into The Rain" is the title track from Radio Front's first album
Under a heavy rain, the Rio de Janeiro band Radio Front connects to something higher in a cathartic performance. This is the premise of the music video for "Into The Rain," the title track from their debut album, where they navigate between alternative rock, post-grunge, and metal. The video is directed by Gabriel Gomes .
The album brings together tracks with diverse influences from alternative rock, grunge, and stoner rock. The band, which began its career in the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro, delivers a weighty sound in its lyrics.
“This is a very powerful song, with very emotional lyrics. It has the concept that if heaven exists, our strongest connection to it is the rain. It is in the rain that we feel the touch of those who have passed away. It is definitely one of the most important tracks for me,” says Felipe Nova , the band's vocalist.
Besides him, Radio Front is made up of Marcelo Moreira, Bruno Moreira, Yuri Corrêa, and Leonardo Bourseau . In the video, produced by Screamin , they seek a direct vision of this connection through the rain. For this, the band needed creativity.
"The recording was scheduled for a stormy weekend where not a drop of rain fell. So, we built an artificial rain machine made of plumbing and garden sprinklers," explains Marcelo Moreira.
The album Into the Rain was produced and mixed by Luiz Freitag and Jon Marques of Musark , and is available on all digital music platforms.
