Quiet Riot will continue after the death of Frankie Banali.

Quiet Riot announced that they will continue even after the death of drummer Frankie Banali at age 68, on the 21st, a victim of pancreatic cancer.

"It was Frankie Banali's wish that the band continue and we will keep the music and legacy alive," the group wrote on their social media, and confirmed that drummer Johnny Kelly , who was filling in for Banali with his blessing, will remain in the band.

They also announced new dates for the Live Riot , which begins on October 9th in the city of Urich, in the US state of Missouri, and is confirmed until October 2021. The announcement did not mention whether the shows will be in a socially distanced format due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

More dates for Quiet Riot's new tour are expected to be announced soon.
