Queensrÿche celebrates two great albums in their career with the announcement of the release of deluxe editions of the albums Operation: Mindcrime (1988) and Empire (1990).
According to Blabbermouth , the deluxe versions of the albums were remastered at Abbey Road Studios and include exclusive bonus features such as DVDs of music videos and live performances by the band, in addition to the release of the albums on vinyl.
The special edition of Operation: Mindcrime, the band's third album, includes 4 CDs with extended and live versions from different shows on the tour, which also appear on the DVD with concert excerpts, music videos, and visuals. The new version of its successor, Empire, includes 3 CDs and 1 DVD, featuring acoustic and radio versions.
These concept albums propelled the band to the peak of their career, earning critical acclaim and entry into the major charts of the time. The release of this collector's edition compilation is scheduled for this Friday, June 25th, and the box sets are available for pre-order .
