The Queen biography boosted streams and sales of the band's music.

Bohemian Rhapsody , the biopic of Queen , has been a huge hit, winning Oscars, Golden Globes and other awards.

Not only did it bring in an estimated $1 billion at the international box office, but it also increased the band's sales and streams. According to Billboard , Queen's catalog has seen a radical increase since the film's release.

The website says that streams on digital platforms tripled, from 588 to 1.9 billion listens. The numbers are compared to the six months prior to the film's release. Sales of the tracks rose from 527,000 to 1.9 million.

Billboard also reports that album sales reached 1.1 million copies. An estimated increase of $4 million to $18 million during that time period.
