In an act of solidarity with Ukraine, Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor decided to stream their 2008 concert, Live in Ukraine , performed with Paul Rodgers YouTube . The initiative aimed to raise funds to help Ukraine during its armed conflict with Russia.

The live stream took place on March 19th, but the full performance is still available on the band's channel. The footage shows May and Taylor on stage alongside Rodgers, who took over vocals for the evening.

“We have so many great memories of our time in Ukraine,” commented Brian May. “This film shows the unforgettable night of our show at Freedom Square in Kharkiv in 2008. It seems unbelievable that the peaceful life of Ukraine could be destroyed so senselessly in the 21st century. It seems unbearable to me that the world can only watch this happen. We are all praying for your peace, my friends.”
