Brian May, of Queen , reveals that former bassist John Deacon still has decision-making power over the band.

The guitarist revealed this information during an interview with Mojo . Although the bassist officially retired in 1997, he worked periodically with the band after Freddy Mercury in 1991.

Brian comments that "John can still say 'yes' or 'no'" and that, although the former bassist is "happy" with what the band is doing, he doesn't want the "stress of being creatively involved," which is respected by the group members.

Possibility of a new Queen album

Roger Taylor , the band's drummer, reveals the possibility of releasing new material , their first since their last album Made In Heaven (1995), according to an interview given to Uncut .

“We were talking the other day, and we both said that we feel we have some good material, so why not? We can still play. We can still sing. So I don’t see why not,” Taylor says in a conversation he had with Brian.
