Queen refused to tour the United States, claiming the country is a "dangerous place".
In a new interview with the Daily Mail [via Blabbermouth ], Brian May revealed that the band does not intend to perform any shows in the country.
“The United States is a dangerous place right now, so you need to take that into consideration. It’s very sad because I feel that Queen grew up in America and we love it, but it’s not what it used to be. Right now, everyone is thinking twice before going there,” the guitarist lamented.
Regardless of the country, Brian May said he has no prediction for when Queen will return to performing live : "I don't know when Queen will return to the stage, it's an unknown. We'll see how things unfold day by day."
Queen toured North America for the last time in 2023 as part of the Rhapsody Tour , with Adam Lambert .
