The ceremony will take place on January 28th

The organization responsible for the Grammy Awards has revealed the annual list of honorees for the Lifetime Achievement Award, which will include Queen in its 2018 edition.

The award honors those who, during their lives, "made an exceptional contribution to the world of music." Big names like Velvet Underground, Paul McCartney, Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, John Lennon, Bob Dylan, and Jimi Hendrix have been honored in past editions of the event.

The Recording Academy will hold a ceremony and a special show to present the awards, but the date of the event has not yet been announced.

Other artists to be honored alongside Queen include: Hal Blaine, Neil Diamond, Emmylou Harris, Louis Jordan, The Meters, and Tina Turner.

The 60th Grammy Awards ceremony will take place on January 28th at Madison Square Garden in New York City and will feature performances by Lady Gaga, Pink, Childish Gambino, and Little Big Town.
