With the increase in Covid-19 cases across Europe, mainly in the United Kingdom, Queen announced on their official website the decision to postpone the upcoming Queen Extravaganza with Alírio Netto to early 2023.
"Unfortunately, we had to postpone another tour due to the pandemic. The situation is still very delicate, and as much as we wanted this tour, our safety and everyone else's safety always comes first," said Alírio Netto.
The official statement reads: “Although we were more than ready to put the show back on the road, the logistics this production faces prevent us from touring with the confidence needed to deliver over 50 shows in the UK and Europe at this time.”
Alírio led the band Khallice , in addition to having participated in the group Age of Artemis . More recently, he joined the band Shaman as a replacement for the late Andre Matos.
