Queen 's hit "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" has surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify.

Written by Freddie Mercury in 1979, "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" is featured on the album The Game (1980). The song also appears on the compilation album Greatest Hits , released in 1981.

To celebrate the occasion, the band's official profile used social media to thank the fans.

The track was the band's sixth song to reach that milestone

“We Will Rock You”, “Under Pressure”, “Another One Bites the Dust”, “Bohemian Rhapsody”, and “Don't Stop Me Now” had already reached that milestone on the platform. The last three have even surpassed 2 billion streams on Spotify.

It's worth remembering that any song that achieves this feat is automatically added to the Billions Club playlist , which aggregates the most listened-to tracks on the streaming service.
