Public Image Ltd confirmed this Monday, the 29th, a single show in Brazil, 34 years after the band's last performance in the country.
The band led by John Lydon , former vocalist of the Sex Pistols, brings the This Is Not The Last Tour to Terra SP in São Paulo on April 8, 2026. Tickets are already on sale through the Fastix website.
Public Image Ltd is one of the most expressive and creative post-punk bands in the world, formed after John Lydon led the Sex Pistols, becoming pioneers of post-punk. With a constantly changing lineup and a unique sound, Lydon guided the band from their debut album First Issue (1978) to That What Is Not (1992), before a 17-year hiatus and their return in 2009. Their most recent release is the album End of World, released in August 2023.
It's worth mentioning that Lydon himself designed the new version of the PiL logo for the current tour's merchandise. He said it symbolizes a new beginning for the band.
