Jeremy Spencer , also known by his alter ego, Devil Daddy , former drummer and one of the founders of Five Finger Death Punch , has released a music video with his current band, Psychosexual , for the track "I Wanna be The Blood In Your Cut," which is part of the group's first album, Torch the Faith , released in July.
“'I Wanna Be the Blood In Your Cut' was something that came to me one night when I was having a goth moment, missing the sounds of Type O Negative and even the nu-wave flavors of Gary Numan ,” Spencer recalls about the creation of the track. “I wanted to make a kind of dark and demented love song, and I think that translates very well.”
“While writing the lyrics, I was visualizing them coming to life through anime, which gave me the idea not only for the video, but also to sing a chorus in Japanese. I’ve always loved touring in Japan, and the language has always fascinated me, so everything came together quite organically,” the artist adds.
