Members of the Student Labor Committee stormed the stage where Metallica Lars Ulrich was participating in a panel discussion about exploring creative culture in the Bay Area.
The incident occurred at the University of Berkeley in California, and the protesters were complaining about the working conditions offered by the University.
In addition to Lars Ulrich, Marc Benioff from Salesforce.com and the drummer's father, Torben Ulrich, who at 87 years old continues to produce music, films, and poetry, also participated in the debate.
Once tempers cooled, Lars offered the microphone to anyone who wanted to speak, a space that was used by one of the protesters. After that, the event continued without further incident.
