– The song I chose as "the best song on Dream Theater," in my opinion, considering concept, lyrics, melody, and translation, is "When Your Time Has Come." Starting with the inviting introduction, culminating in the applause at the end of "A Savior On The Square," it evokes a sense of peace and tranquility. Although Dream Theater is seen by most fans as a heavy band due to their riffs and James's unreachable screams, this album managed to surprise once again. The album(s) truly live up to the translation of their title.
"When Your Time Has Come" begins by talking about the doubts that life brings us in the face of battles and the choices we must make. It is at this exact moment that we must listen to our hearts and believe in a better future. That no matter how difficult the circumstances may seem, we will always have someone to count on, someone to trust. We must accept that sometimes we will win and other times we will lose. That life becomes more beautiful with music, and that is the reason we continue to move forward, because music has the power to change people and the world
