Private Function has released the music video for their single “Sucked In Fuckhead.” Chris Penney and Bootleg Comics directed the video.
The song is part of the band's new album, ¯_(ツ)_/¯ , released this Friday, May 23rd by Still On Top Records.
However, what really stands out are the physical versions of the album. Private Function announced four vinyl variants; three of the options offered color variations, while the fourth variant is not only more expensive but also offers an unusual feature.
According to a video posted on the band's Instagram by guitarist Lauren Hester , the vinyl edition "smells like Gwyneth Paltrow's vagina."
The idea for the album came from a candle that the actress marketed as part of her Goop in 2020, called " This Smells Like My Vagina ".
This version of the LP, called Goopy, was advertised on the band's website for US$150 (approximately R$850 at the current exchange rate) and is already sold out.
Who is Private Function?
The Australian band has attracted attention in recent years thanks to some creative marketing titles and albums.
The debut album St. Anger , released in 2019, was inspired by Metallica's self-titled release. In 2023, he released the album titled 370HSSV 0773H .
In addition, the band opened for Green Day on three dates of The Saviors in March.
