Heavy Talk channel , Prika Amaral spoke about the "uncomfortable" situation of having two female bassists in Nervosa .
In March, the band announced that Mia Wallace would only be able to do a few sporadic shows with Nervosa due to personal reasons. She was temporarily replaced by bassist Hel Pyre .
“Mia’s situation is a bit delicate,” Prika explains. “We don’t really know how to handle it. We’re trying to find a balance. A way to make this happen. She can’t participate in practically any shows. We’re trying to support her as much as we can.” (transcription via Whiplash ).
Prika Amaral also pointed out that Mia Wallace "did not participate in Nervosa's new album," neither composing nor recording, due to personal problems, and that the members don't know "how long this will last."
“I don’t feel it’s fair to Hel Pyre, who is investing everything in Nervosa. I feel a little uncomfortable with the situation. I don’t want to take Mia away. She’s not leaving because she wants to, but because of a situation. We’re trying to keep both of them,” Prika concluded.
Nervosa has recently undergone a series of lineup changes with the departure of drummer Nanu Villalba and vocalist Diva Satanica . Helena Kotina was announced as the second guitarist, and live vocals "Endless Ambition" .
