A radical priest suffers an accident and is transformed into a "murderous mutant with the mission of exterminating heavy metal fans." Sounds like a horror movie, right? That's the story of Tim Connery 's Death to Metal

Filmed in 2019, the movie has already won an award at the Spooky Empire Film Festival , and in December it will be available for streaming via Wild Eye Releasing . To celebrate the release, two trailers have been launched. Watch them below.

According to Connery, the project's writer and director, the film is "fun and bloody," and heavily inspired by the "low-budget horror" of the 80s. He further adds (via Louder Sound ): "We really wanted to make a movie for those delirious late-night hours, a movie you could scream, boo, laugh, and just have fun with. And, thankfully, that was exactly the reception we got in Tampa during the Spooky Empire Film Fest."
