"Bohemian Rhapsody" will tell the life story of Freddie Mercury, who will be played by Rami Malek

Previously unseen footage from the biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody” was released this week. The film, which will chronicle the life of Freddie Mercury, had its first trailer presented by Fox at CinemaCon, but it has not yet been released online.

Actor Rami Malek, who plays the lead singer of Queen, spoke about the challenges of portraying a "Rock God":

“When I got the role, I thought, ‘My God, this performance could define my career forever.’ And two minutes later I thought, ‘This could even bury my career,’” Malek said during the event.

Although the trailer hasn't been released yet, two previously unseen images have been revealed: The first shows the band on stage. Based on their outfits and the packed stadium setting, it can be assumed that this is Queen's epic performance at Live Aid in 1985.

The second photo can be seen below. In it, we find Malek as Mercury alongside actor Gwilym Lee, who plays guitarist Brian May.

Rami Malek also revealed that he received an email from Brian May saying that "seeing the film brought him to tears" and that "Freddie would be proud if he were still with us."

"Bohemian Rhapsody" will be released on November 2nd.
