No Rainbow Bar & Grill
LA Weekly's website revealed today a photo of the feet of the Lemmy statue, which will be erected in honor of the vocalist at his favorite bar, the Rainbow Bar & Grill on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles.
Artist Travis Moore is responsible for the statue, which will be placed in a 1.80-meter shrine outside the bar. Moore will create the sculpture for free, and the material costs were covered through crowdfunding.
The unveiling of the statue will take place on August 24th at 7 PM Los Angeles time. The Rainbow Bar & Grill also erected a memorial to the musician after his death.
