This album is the first since vocalist Brian Burkheiser's injury
American band I Prevail released their second studio album, Trauma, It features 13 songs, including "Paranoid" and "Bow Down" .
While preparing the album, Brian Burkheiser (vocals), Eric Vanlerberghe (vocals), Steve Menoian (guitar), Dylan Bowman (guitar) and Gabe Helguera (drums) have not released any information about the record, and according to Burkheiser, the reason for this was to ensure that they would "get it 100% right".
“This album means everything to me. Sorry it took so long, but Trauma was born from this real experience (…) I hope you’re all ready.”
The release also marks his first work since Burkheiser injured his vocal cords in 2017. The injury prevented him from singing until his full recovery.
