The Pretenders have released the music video for their new single , “Didn't Want To Be This Lonely,” which will be featured on their eleventh album, Hate For Sale .

The video, recorded entirely during quarantine, was inspired by pop art and comics, has a 60s rockabilly sound, and despite a somewhat relatable title in times of social isolation, talks about the end of a relationship in a very funny way.

The track follows “The Buzz”, “You Can't Hurt a Fool”, “Turf Accountant Daddy”, and the title track, which are available on all streaming platforms .
