In the latest Wikimetal poll, the cover of Iron Maiden's "Powerslave" won as the band's best album cover, with 25% of the votes. "Somewhere In Time" and "The Number of the Beast" came in second and third place with 17% and 10% respectively.

The cover art for "Powerslave" was designed by Derek Riggs, the artist behind many of Iron Maiden's album covers, including "Piece Of Mind," "The Number of The Beast," and "Somewhere In Time." The artwork features several hidden messages, such as a Mickey Mouse, the inscription "Indiana Jones was here," and more.

"Powerslave" was the band's first album that did not feature the red "Iron Maiden" logo.
