The full song premieres this Friday and is expected to feature Tommy Lee in the music video

Rapper Post Malone is an avowed fan of rock and metal. The singer mentioned Bon Scott in one of his biggest hits, " Rockstar ," in addition to having recorded two songs with Ozzy Osbourne (" It's A Raid " and " Take What You Want ") and doing a livestream tribute to Nirvana . Now, Posty – as he is called by fans – is preparing to release the single "Motley Crew."

In a post wishing the rapper a happy birthday, who turned 26 on the 4th, his manager Dre London posted a snippet of the song that will be released this Friday, the 9th. It's also possible to see behind-the-scenes footage of the new music video, in which drummer Tommy Lee is expected to participate.

“Happy birthday to my brother, Post Malone,” Dre wrote. “I tell you all the time that you’re one of the most genuine Americans I’ve ever met!! So of course your day is today! This week we’re celebrating by filming a MOVIE!! I’m excited to finally announce that the new single ‘Motley Crew’ drops this Friday! The whole project with the Concert Doc will be released soon!”

“Motley Crew” isn’t the first time the rapper has referenced the glam metal band, having also featured on Tyla Yaweh ,” where Tommy Lee himself plays drums . Check out a snippet of the new song:
