For the drummer, it's not a reunion

In an interview on the American podcast Energize With Lonn Friend , Winery Dogs drummer Mike Portnoy commented on the Black Sabbath reunion: "It's not a reunion ," says the drummer.

Portnoy addressed the issue by saying that the problem is that the band continues to refer to the lineup as a "reunion": "I have no problem with Bill Ward not being able to play, or difficulties in negotiations. The problem is that it's not a reunion without the four of them. It's simply the current Black Sabbath lineup."

The drummer goes on to explain: “Why is this Black Sabbath and Heaven & Hell wasn’t Black Sabbath? We all know why. But it’s not a true Black Sabbath reunion without Bill Ward.”
