First EP to reach number one in 10 years

Ghost's EP "Popestar," released on the 16th, reached the top of Billboard's Rock and Hard Rock charts this week. This marks the first time the band has reached number 1 on the Rock chart, and it's also their first EP to top the chart in 10 years.

“Popestar” sold over 21,000 copies in its first week of release. The album includes the single Square Hammer , which also debuted at number seven on the Hard Rock digital music sales chart.

In addition to Square Hammer, "Popestar" features five covers, by Eurythmics, Echo & the Bunnymen, Simian Mobile Disco, and Imperiet.
