In the latest Wikimetal poll, which asked "Who would you put on vocals for AC/DC?", 33% of fans voted that without Brian Johnson, AC/DC should end. The other 67% were divided among various vocalists, with Axl Rose receiving 22% of the votes and Joel O'Keefe of Airbourne 13%.

AC/DC has not yet made it clear what will happen to the band after the current tour, which continues with Axl Rose until the end. Brian Johnson, despite having published an emotional letter with a career-ending tone , signaled last week that a new hearing aid may allow him to sing on stage again .
Axl Rose has generally been well-received by audiences for his performance and likeability as the frontman of AC/DC. Despite this, the majority opinion in the Wikimetal poll reflects statements already made by Scott Ian and Max Cavalera .
Angus Young has no plans to retire.
