In a very positive tone, singer Bret Michaels ( Poison ) gave an interview last Thursday, the 15th, to the Trunknation , hosted by Eddie Trunk , on SiriusXM in New York. According to Bret, between 2025 and 2026 Poison may be back on the road for a new tour with other artists, as happened on The Stadium Tour in 2022, where they played with Joan Jett and The Blackhearts , Mötley Crüe , and Def Leppard .
Bret said he was very grateful to be touring alongside such important artists. "I wouldn't be doing any of this without being there with CC DeVille , and Bobby Dall , Rikki Rockett ," the vocalist said, referring to his bandmates in Poison. Furthermore, he said he's "one million percent" sure he'll be back on stage with his colleagues.
Before The Stadium Tour , Poison shared the stage with American bands Cheap Trick and Pop Evil Nothing But a Good Time tour in 2018, playing in the United States and Canada. The setlists for those shows didn't include any new material. The group released their last album of original material in 2002, Hollyweird , and a covers album in 2007, Poison'd !.
Back in 2018, bassist Bobby Dall ( via Blabbermouth ) commented that he didn't know when or if a new Poison album would be released, as all the members were involved in other commitments. Then, in December of the same year, in an interview with Newsday , Bret said that the band would return in 2020 with new music , which has not yet happened.
Bret Michels' health status
During The Stadium Tour , Poison canceled one of their shows because Bret needed to be hospitalized after reacting badly to medication, according to band members. In October 2023, the singer shared on his personal Instagram account about his health , revealing that he had been diagnosed with skin cancer.
Currently 60 years old, Bret Michaels has been doing solo work, such as the Parti-Gras , in which he shares the stage with fellow artists playing great rock and Poison hits. The tour already has dates scheduled until September of this year , passing through Nevada, California, Florida and other American states.
