While preparing to begin recording their next album, Californian band P.O.D. has released a 20th-anniversary commemorative edition of "Satellite ," their biggest hit, featuring a remastered version of the original, rare tracks, and unreleased demos.

Released in 2001, the album became a triple-platinum success and remains the band's best-selling album. On Satellite: 20th Anniversary Edition , now available on all streaming platforms as Satellite (Expanded Edition, 2021 Remaster), the band released a B-side featuring the tracks "Critic" and "Sabbath," initially released only in Europe, as well as remixes of "Boom" and "Youth Of The Nation."

According to vocalist Sonny Sandoval , P.O.D. has already begun work on their eleventh album, the successor to Circles (2018). “Yes, we’re working on a new album. I think everyone did that during the whole COVID thing,” he said in an interview with Audio Ink Radio (via Blabbermouth) . “But not being able to go to a jam session – I mean, we’re a band that plays together. A lot of these new bands live in different states, they just send files and suddenly create music. Well, P.O.D. isn’t like that. We like to sit down with each other, play music and figure things out. And so it’s been a difficult thing. (…) I’m sure we’ll release a single sometime soon.”
