With the recent news about demands from international bands for the organization of Rock In Rio , Pitty joined the trend of commenting on what she would ask of the festival – and made a request, although she didn't directly criticize the event in question.
Pitty's comment was made in response to a tweet by José Norberto Flesch , in which the journalist asked his followers: "What would be on your list of demands for Rock in Rio if you were a famous artist?".
The artist responded with a laughing emoji at the end: “Having a soundcheck with the same stage time and conditions as the foreign bands,” she wrote. After the repercussion, Pitty explained her comment, adding that “I’m not saying it doesn’t exist, I’m saying what I would ask for, ok?”. The singer from Bahia has already performed at Rock In Rio on two occasions: first at the event in Lisbon (Portugal), in 2006, and, years later, in Brazil, on the Palco Mundo stage in 2011.
