Pink Floyd 's film Delicate Sound Of Thunder will receive a new restored, re-edited, and remixed version. The concert, which was recorded at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island in 1988 during the A Momentary Lapse Of Reason , will also be shown in cinemas on October 15th.
In a partnership, Warner and Sony will release the physical version on November 20th. Delicate Sound Of Thunder will be available on Blu-ray, DVD, double CD, a triple LP, and a deluxe 4-CD box set with bonus tracks.
The release was converted from 35mm to 4K and completely re-edited by Benny Trickett while the audio was remixed by David Gilmour, Andy Jackson , and Damon Iddins. The physical version also comes with a 24-page booklet featuring numerous photos from the project. The 4-CD box set includes a 40-page booklet, plus a poster and postcard from the tour.
