Pink Floyd 's best and most iconic albums turns 50 in 2023. The Dark Side Of The Moon (1973) is one of the most celebrated albums in rock history and will receive a commemorative anniversary edition.
Scheduled for release on March 24th, the expanded box set contains a remastered version of the album on CD and vinyl, as well as Blu-ray and DVD audio versions with the original 5.1 mix and remastered stereo versions. Access the pre-order .
In addition, the complete package also includes a recording of the show The Dark Side Of The Moon – Live At Wembley Empire Pool, 1974 on CD, vinyl and Blu-Ray, and a hardcover book with rare and never-before-seen photos of the band during the years 1972 to 1975. Both items will also be sold separately.
In reference to the premiere event of The Dark Side of the Moon in 1973, held at the London Planetarium, a special session to listen to the album will take place in various planetariums around the world. Check the schedule of the planetarium nearest you to find out if the event is available.
