Pierce The Veil announced this Wednesday, April 1st, a show in Brazil. The performance will take place on April 9th at Carioca Club Pinheiros, in São Paulo. In addition to São Paulo, the band will also tour other countries in Latin America.
“We are proud to announce that we are bringing The Jaws Of Life Tour to Mexico and South America. It’s been almost a decade since we played in some of these countries and we couldn’t be more excited to reunite with you all. We have always held our Mexican and South American fans very close to our hearts. You are the most passionate fans in the world and we are honored to perform in your beautiful countries,” said vocalist Vic Fuentes (via Rádio Rock ).
The second batch of tickets is now on sale at the Clube do Ingresso . A full-price standing ticket costs 400 reais; however, by donating 1 kg of non-perishable food, it's possible to purchase a half-price promotional ticket.
The tour is part of the promotion for the band's fifth album, The Jaws of Life , which will be released on February 10th and includes the singles "Even When I'm Not With You," "Pass The Nirvana," and "Emergency Contact."
The project marks Pierce The Veil's return after seven years and is their first without drummer Mike Fuentes , who was accused of sexual abuse Loniel Robinson a friend of the group , is not the official replacement, but has been filling in on drums during the tour.
