Phil X, guitarist for Bon Jovi, will be holding workshops in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro

During the meetings, Phil will talk about his musical experience and demonstrate some of his techniques

Phil X , guitarist for Bon Jovi , The Drills , and with a brilliant stint in Triumph , will take advantage of his time in Brazil for the Rock in Rio and São Paulo shows to hold guitar workshops for fans and enthusiasts. With an enviable resume, the Greek-Canadian musician will hold two major masterclasses, on September 24th in São Paulo (Manifesto Bar) and on September 30th in Rio de Janeiro (Teatro Prudential).

Onstage Agência and Estreia Produções are responsible for organizing the workshops. During the meeting, Phil will talk about his musical experience and demonstrate some of his techniques.

Phil, originally from Toronto, is one of those guitarists who create and record solos, riffs, and melodies on acclaimed rock and pop albums worldwide, but remain in the background. The list of artists he has played with is immense: Tommy Lee, Methods of Mayhem, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, Orianthi, Robustezes Zombie, Chris Daughtry, Alice Cooper, Thousand Foot Krutch , among others.

Phil has been playing with Bon Jovi since 2011, when he was called in at the last minute to replace Richie Sambora and continue the band's extensive tour of the United States and Europe. A respected name, the guitarist has even appeared on American talk shows alongside Jon Bon Jovi, such as those hosted by Ellen DeGeneres and Jay Leno.

Phil X also performs as a guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist in the band The Drills, founded in 2003.

There are iconic songs bearing Phil X's signature. "Tired," from the album Tommyland: The Ride , the second solo album by Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, released in 2005. With Triumph, the guitarist recorded the excellent Edge of Excess in 1992.

Phil X also participated in the "making of" video for the movie Josie and the Pussycats , a hit from the 2000s. He also worked as a music instructor and taught young actors how to pretend to play their instruments.
