Gorilla Voltage is a lyrical hip-hop duo
Phil Labonte of All That Remains has teamed up with hip-hop duo Gorilla Voltage for a rap/metal mashup. “Good Die Young” is a Spotify exclusive and will be featured on Gorilla Voltage’s album Gods & Claws .
The duo said in a statement: “When we wrote the song, we had a clear vision that it was about the duality of good and evil from the latter’s perspective. The song called for a great voice that could deliver both the lyricism and the brutality at the end. Phil Labonte was the only guy for the job. As huge fans of Phil and All That Remains, we were honored and impressed to work with him. Phil executed our vision better than we could have hoped for.”
