On the evening of Saturday the 26th, Phil Collins performed for the last time with Genesis at the O2 Arena in London.
Collins spent the entire performance seated due to weakness caused by his numerous health problems. The singer announced during his performance that this would be Genesis' last show, causing a commotion in the audience.
Collins has been battling back problems after undergoing a series of surgeries that damaged his nerves, and 15 days ago he was also struck by acute pancreatitis. Despite the difficult situation, he retained a touch of humor when delivering the sad news of Genesis's breakup. "Now we'll all get real jobs," he joked.
