The band Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons has cancelled its scheduled shows due to health problems faced by Phil Campbell , former guitarist of Motörhead .
The shows scheduled to take place in Australia and Europe between March 6th and May 16th have been suspended. Read the statement posted by the band on social media :
“PCATBS regrets to announce that, due to the medical recommendations Phil has just received, we have been forced to make the decision to cancel all shows in Australia and the EU from March to May. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this will likely cause our fans, but Phil's health will always be our number one priority.”.
Initially created as a side project by Phil Campbell during the final years of Motörhead, under the name Phil Campbell's All Starr Band, the band officially adopted the name Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons during Wacken Open Air 2016. Shortly after, they released a self-titled EP. Formed by Campbell alongside his sons Todd, Tyla , and Dane, the group gained prominence in 2017 with shows that included Motörhead covers and original compositions.
