Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons , a band formed by Motorhead guitarist and his sons Todd, Dane, Tyla , and vocalist Neil Starr , shared good news today, the 4th: the group will release their new album, We're the Bastards , on November 13th via Nuclear Blast . And to celebrate the news, the single "Son of a Gun" was released along with a music video.
The release will be the band's second studio album, the successor to The Age of Absurdity , and according to Phil, who recently appeared on Sepultura , SepulQuarta , it will "blow your mind off," needless to say we're ready, right?
The excitement for the album is contagious throughout the group, as Neil says, “It’s definitely great to know that we have an audience now. We know there are people who want to listen, but the truth is we just have fun with it. Again, we made the album we wanted to make and it’s been pretty incredible. It’s been great to take our minds off everything and just focus on making a fantastic album for our fans to enjoy.”
The album will be available as a CD, in a limited edition digipak with bonus tracks, 2 gold LPs, 2 glossy LPs (UK exclusive), 2 orange LPs with black speckles, and 2 black LPs.
