Scour is Phil Anselmo's extreme metal band.
Scour 's show on July 5th, Phil Anselmo , former vocalist of Pantera , dedicated a classic song from the band to drummer Vinnie Paul , who passed away on June 22nd. Scour is an extreme metal band formed by Anselmo, John Jarvis, Derek Engemann, Mark Kloeppel, and Adam Jarvis .
Anselmo and Paul were members of Pantera. The band broke up in 2003, and former guitarist and Paul's brother, Dimebag Darrell , was murdered on stage the following year during a Damageplan .
Paul was currently playing with Hellyeah and was buried on June 30th next to his brother.
