Peter Murphy , vocalist of Bauhaus , has announced the release of his new album, Silver Shade . His tenth solo album, and his first new material in 11 years, will be released on May 9th by Metropolis Records .
The album was produced by Youth ( Martin Glover ), bassist of Killing Joke , and features collaborations with Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails , Boy George , and Justin Chancellor , bassist of Tool .
The gothic icon describes the partnership with Youth as "a symbiotic relationship born from artistic collaboration" and states that "this new album is as powerful as any of my work to date."
