Pearl Jam delivered an unforgettable moment for rock fans last Thursday, the 8th, during their show at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Peter Frampton on stage for a special appearance on "Black," one of the greatest classics of the Seattle group's career [as transcribed via A Radio Rock ].

The collaboration also included a snippet of "Do You Feel Like We Do," an emblematic hit from Frampton's solo career, creating an exciting encounter between different generations of rock. Before the performance, Eddie Vedder made a point of praising the guest: "This guy is one of the reasons we love live albums... plus, he's an incredible human being."

The connection between Frampton and Pearl Jam goes back a long way. In 2006, the guitarist recorded with Mike McCready and Matt Cameron on the album Fingerprints , which won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Album.

Currently, Frampton is working on a new album alongside his son, Julian Frampton . With his recent appearance with Pearl Jam, fans are already speculating: could a new collaboration be on the way?
