Former drummer seeks redemption in autobiography.
On November 23rd, Peter Criss, former drummer of KISS, released a memoir entitled "Makeup to Breakup" .
The work has received harsh criticism in the press, the vast majority saying that, although the Rock Star seeks humility and redemption for past problems, he projects an image that is "selfish, irritating and petty" ( The Village Voice ).
Eric Singer, described as unpleasant in the book, responded to Criss's comments during an interview. Singer said that Criss doesn't know him and has no reason to criticize any of the band members. The current drummer also commented that Criss is looking for a way to get back into the spotlight, since he hasn't received any attention since leaving the band.
